Meet Jodie
Jodie Gear is an Australian artist and textile designer based on the Mornington Peninsula. After a 20-year global career in retail — including building and leading the Lululemon business across Asia Pacific — she left corporate life to paint full-time and return to what she loved most: colour, creativity, and home.
Her paintings now live as both fine art and textiles, carrying the same emotion and intention into different forms. Whether hung or held, her work is about softness, memory, and personal space.

Based on Boon Wurrung Country on the Mornington Peninsula, Jodie draws inspiration from the ocean, light, and her instinctive connection to material and color. Each piece begins with a painting. Some remain as art to hang. Others are transformed into textiles — designed to bring colour, softness, and story into everyday interiors
